The decision was reached at the club’s leadership meeting held in
Dar es Salaam as confirmed by the club’s secretary general Benno Njovu
at a press conference yesterday.
Njovu said Yanga’s administration has mandate granted by its
members according to the club’s constitution to change, reduce or add
any member at its executive committee depending on prevailing
circumstances.
The Yanga official made public announcement that duties of all
incumbent executive committee members will officially come to an end on
Thursday.
Njovu unveiled the new team and their responsibilities as follows;
Aboubakar Rajab will be responsible for Jangwani City project, Sam
Mapande -good governance and law, George Fumbuka - organisations
formation, Waziri Barnabas - donor’s relations and copyrights permits,
Abbas Tarimba - planning and coordination, Isaac Chanji and Seif Ahmed –
sports promotion, Mussa Katabaro - sale of merchandise, Mohammed Binda –
branches establishment, David Ndeketela Sekione – addition of new
members and Mohammed Nyange - information and advertising.
Meanwhile, Njovu acknowledged to have received an invitation letter
extended by CECAFA through the TFF to participate in this year’s
edition Kagame Cup that kicks off in Kigali on August 7.
