Yanga in image fight as it face Platinum FC

Platinum FC players
Young Africans (Yanga) host FC Platinum of Zimbabwe in the CAF Confederation Cup, first leg at the National Stadium in Dar es Salaam this afternoon.

The home side who lost 1-0 at the hands of   bitter rivals Simba in the Mainland Premier League last Sunday, will field a fully-strength side.
Yanga will likely miss the services of key players such as Andrey Coutinho, who missed the match against Simba due to injury and Nadir Haroub `Cannavaro’, who suffered a deep cut on top of his left eye in the Simba clash.
Yanga lost 2-1 to BDF XI in the return leg encounter in Botswana, but still sailed to the next stage with a 3-2 aggregate scoreline. They had won 2-0 in the first leg match at the National Stadium.
Platinum miners sealed a 4-2 aggregate victory over Kenya’s Sofapaka in the preliminary round of the continental second tier club competition to set up a first round date with Yanga.
They recorded a 2-1 win in the return leg match at Mandava Stadium after posting a similar win in Nairobi in the first leg match.
